PANTO® Lacto-Start

In the first days after calving, the cow's organism is under an incredible metabolic load. A high energy level is reached before calving, despite insufficient feed intake before calving. As a result, excessive fat formation and spontaneous onset of ketosis were observed in many of the animals. This energy deficit relates to feed balance. More and more often after the cows calve, calcium deficiency problems appear, which can have a negative effect on the health status of the cows (milk fever, ketosis, mastitis, placental retention, colostrum dislocation). Dislocation is also due to the large "free space" in the abdominal cavity and the hormonally built ligaments and tendons in the abdomen and pelvis area.

This is exactly where the new PANTO® Lacto-Start intervenes. Immediately after calving, the cow is given 10 to 20 liters of liquid (250g PANTO® Lacto-Start per 10 liters of 30 - 35 °C warm water).

PANTO® Lacto-Start dissolves well and contains high-quality energy from dextrose and lactose. The choice of components ensures excellent reception. PANTO® Lacto-Start contains vitamins and trace elements that support the recovery of the cow.

Feeding recommendations:

Immediately after calving, dissolve 500g PANTO® Lacto-Start (2 scoops) in 20 liters of warm water at body temperature and give it to the cow.
