Highly productive cows have high requirements for mineral supplements. This applies especially to the supply of vitamins and trace elements. PANTO® Mineral R56 is optimized according to these requirements.

Magnesium must be taken daily with feed so that the body can maintain reserves of it. Magnesium is a component of important enzymes. It supports nerve excitability and muscle contraction. Deficiency leads to muscle spasms. Vitamin E, together with selenium, has the function of a natural antioxidant. It affects the composition of milk, because of its role as a vitamin that preserves the integrity of the cell. Vitamin E is also important for the synthesis of many hormones. It regulates the development and functioning of the gonads and is a major factor in the preparation and preservation of pregnancy. Trace elements are involved in many enzymatic reactions in different areas of the body. Copper is important for skeletal development, fertility and the immune system. Manganese is difficult to retain in the body. It is a component of many enzymes, involved in the formation of blood cells, skeletal growth and fertility. Cobalt is very important especially for ruminants, as it is a main component of vitamin B12. In the absence of cobalt, there is a possibility that the animal is not able to synthesize enough vitamin B12. Iodine is important for the hormones that govern the overall metabolic process.

Feeding recommendations:

100 – 200 g of PANTO® Mineral R56 per animal per day, or dosage according to the calculated ration, or no-more than 1% of the dry mass intake. The ration should be supplemented with chalk. PANTO® Mineral R56 can also be used during the dry period.
