ProFerm® HC

ProFerm® HC is a specially developed formula for silage producers and large farms. It is a biological supplement for silage containing specially selected powerful homofermentative lactic acid bacteria. They convert plant sugar exclusively into lactic acid, promoting lactic acid fermentation and improving silage quality, including baled silage. The processed silage is tastier and therefore better accepted by the animals.

Area of application:

The biological preservative ProFerm® HC is recommended for the preparation of silage from:

• Grass (from 25 to 40% SV);

• Alfalfa;

• Clover.

Increases the digestibility and energy of silage, which leads to higher milk yield and weight gain of animals.

Dosage and application:

0.8 g. ProFerm® HC for 1 ton of silage.

A package of 200 g is sufficient for 250 tons of silage.

One package ProFerm® HC is dissolved in 5 liters of water, stirring constantly. The solution thus made is applied 20 ml per ton, according to the tank of the spreader.

When using a biological additive for ensiling, the application technique must be very good! ProFerm® HC cannot compensate for poor quality of silage raw materials or errors in silage preparation (e.g. vegetation stage at harvest, poor tamping, poor sealing, etc.).

ProFerm® HC has been tested by the German Agricultural Society - DLG.

Storage: 24 months at room temperature (20°C), in a cool and dry place, without direct access to sunlight.
